Shilpa is a principal at PSL. She has been in the studio space for 3 years, having written a book on venture studios (Venture Studios Demystified) and worked with entrepreneurs to help launch studios of their own.

She began her career in investing at Silver Lake and CapitalG (Alphabet's growth equity fund). While at Alphabet, she advised and supported a variety of startups, including as a mentor in the Google for Startups programs. After investing, she  spent time as a product manager at Amazon, focused on Flex, the gig economy delivery business. Shilpa did her MBA at Stanford and her undergraduate in finance & computer science at the University of Pennsylvania.

She enjoys going on bike rides, taking walks with her very energetic dog, reading, and doing art projects in her free time.
