Alex Ray is a Principal at PSL. Alex works directly with Greg Gottesman across all aspects of PSL, supporting existing companies and helping to create new ones.

Prior to joining PSL, Alex was a part of the Leap/business building practice at McKinsey & Company, where he helped large companies launch startups. Alex is a two-time founder (backed once by YC) and has prior venture experience as an Associate at Oxbow Ventures, a VC firm in Jackson, MS.

Alex is a full stack developer who is most excited by ideas that use frontier technologies, such as machine learning or generative AI, in easily accessible ways. Alex spends his free time cooking, gardening, gaming, fly fishing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife Katie and their daughter Maggie.
