Jared Kofron is a principal software engineer at PSL.

Since earning his Ph.D. in experimental nuclear physics from the UW Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics in 2015, he has been involved in startups, specializing in tackling hard problems that require cross-disciplinary thinking.

Before PSL, he was Head of AI at Flux.ai, where he built the first AI copilot for circuit design and electrical engineering, noted for its innovative approach to allowing the AI to act on its environment and directly modify user projects.

When not behind a keyboard, Jared can usually be found practicing archery, tending to his impressive collection of over 100 plants, including some rare species, or indulging in his passion for reading research papers.
